Is it sad that I'm happy to go to bed only so I can sleep the time away till Apple's big media event where it's rumored they will launch their ground breaking tablet, iPhone 4.0 OS and maaaaaybe even the new iPhone that will come in summer!?

Sad but true! I'm a weird hybrid of PC / Apple lover. I'm obsessed with anything Apple, but I own all PC's. I have my iPhone, I have my iPod and I've thought about buying a Mac... but I love my Dell too. Oh well. Love you Apple and see you in just over 13 hours!

Internet Regulation is for the dogs... or China & Italy.

It appears that China, being China, wants Google to do the work for them and filter out anything that the Chinese people "shouldn't" see. Italy in a similar move has asked video providers such as Google's YouTube, Hulu, etc. to "the vetting of videos with sexual or violent content". This could take effect in as soon as February 4th.

Isn't the Internet all about knowledge and self expression? I'm expressing my opinion's right now as I write this post. I say, if you don't like it, don't read it. Nobody is forcing people to watch YouTube, nobody is forcing anyone to read this blog. (Though I wish a few more people did.) So to you China & Italy, go make your own damn Internet and to the Internet providers, block all IP's that come from those countries. It's all or none baby!

So when in Rome, don't expect to watch your favorite YouTube or Hulu clips! And when in China, just stick with government produced paper media. Oh well!

Today I'm making a combination recipe of Tyler's Ultimate BBQ Ribs and Alton Brown's Backyard Baby Back Ribs. I'm using Alton's rub and braising technique, followed by Tyler's glaze and broil technique... wooo weee! That with some collard greens, mashed tater's, and jalapeño cheddar corn bread!

So here I am watching Conan's last Tonight Show on DVR this morning, very funny, and the first commercial on is the Can't Believe It's not Butter staring Megan Mullally and some very sexy stock boy. Me being the curious guy that I am, hit pause to Google the commercial and see if I could figure out who this vague hottie extra was. I found a similar blog posting that references the complete music video... yup, there's a complete video, with even more sexy extras! And they sing! Well, I've copied it here for you're musical enjoyment. But Megan, please stop with the butter and go get your own sitcom!!!! I miss you!

UPDATE: Looks like after a little more hunting, the main dancer is Shannon Holtzapffel. He is also in the Michael Jackson's This is It movie. Very sexy!

Audi has done it again... At this year's Detroit Auto Show they have release a second concept with the name 'e-tron'. Honestly, it's beautiful and I love it. I certainly hope they turn this into a production car, even if its limited like the Audi R8. Sexy concepts shouldn't be denied the love of the road!

Still trying to plan out my vacations for this year, but I think here's the list

- February 12 - 13th: G3 trip to Miami

- February / March: Cruise with my friend Jordan in the Caribbean?

- April: Possible weekend at Disney World with my friend Jeff?

- Memorial Day weekend: Pensacola FL for some gay weekend or Fire Island... up in the air

- Mid June: NYC Pride weekend

- Late June: Broadway Bares in NYC

- July 3rd - July 10th: Week in Provincetown, MA for our 4th year. :)

That's it so far, but so far I don't know how I'm going to pay for them all! HA!

A blog is only as good as the person or people who write to it... my track record is pretty bad! So what's new? Met, dated, fell in love, and broke up with a wonderful guy named Nick from Sacramento. FINALLY quit my property management job and now work as a product manager for Online Buddies, Inc... that's right, Manhunt and DList. :)

I'm going to try to post more. Promise!

I was in a great mood all of today. I had a great workout today as well, 3.5 mile run, body is really starting to take shape. I'm really looking forward to the next 9 weeks till my bday goal. Hopefully I'll make it and then I can set goal 2 for ptown.

Okay, so I took like two years off... well, more like got lazy and forgot, but now I'm back. I have a ton of stuff to talk about, mainly working on my life goals.

- Fitness. I'm turning 30 in 10 weeks. 30" waist by my 30th! I've already lost 7lbs since late Dec.
- Work. Though I don't hate my job, it's certainly not what I want to do for the rest of my life. I'm getting back to focusing on my web work. I've had a few new clients and working on my portfolio.
- Money. I've been working to reduce my debt. Even if I was dying to buy some new clothes today. Saw the cutest outfit at Club Monaco... I might breakdown and get it... oye. Money could improve if I improve on my company and web work.
- Love life. What love life? So much for married and kids by 35... guess it's still possible. Guys in this town just don't seem to want to commit.

Well, off to do some work and then bed. Dad's 61st birthday is tomorrow... I finally didn't forget!

Loukas & Catch up...

Okay... so its been a long time since I've posted, almost two months actually. DAMN! And a lot has happened too. Where shall I begin? Well, first and foremost I met this guy Loukas. Great kid! Loukas is a Greek exchange student studying at the Fletcher School at Tufts University for a Masters in International Law & Diplomacy. His goal, to be Prime Minister of Greece once he's old enough (age limit is 31 and he's only 23.) The kid is super smart, we're talking like 8+ languages smart. Everything was great for awhile... but me being the capitalist pig that I am in our free market... we had a few differences of opinion at times. I pretty much knew, politics are not something I should argue about with him, he'll win.

Well, needless to say... time marchs on. I know for a fact that I SUCK at communicating my feelings to the person I'm dating, its always been a problem and its something he tried to get me to work on. But ya know, Rome wasn't built in a day. Anyways, after about six - seven weeks of dating, things just weren't working out the way I had hoped. Plus he was going home to Greece and various other parts of the world and USA for the summer. I wasn't really prepared to wait four months for someone I had only dated 6 weeks, no matter how I felt.

On a more positive note, I did go on a date with this guy I met a week ago at a rooftop party. I know its a bit early to jump back into the dating scene, but whatever. I wasn't exactly married before. This new guy is pretty cool... more to come on that.

As for work, I've been busting my ass as usual and working a ton on web sites. Too bad the two I've been working on are totally free to the clients. I'm trying to build up a portfolio, so beggers can't be choosers!

And the rest of my life, Erik from Long Island surprised me with a visit this week. Was so nice to see him, it has been since NYC Pride last June! I decided that for my birthday weekend, Friday May 25th thru Memorial Day on the 28th I'd go to Fire Island off Long Island. Apparently Erik has a friend there who has a house and its a BIG weekend. I'm looking forward to it!

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! better.... but only slightly! WHAT THE FUCK!!!! I don't get men! UGH! Okay, back story time... and for those of you involved, you deserve this! A few months ago I saw this guy at the gym and was like DAMN! He's HOT! I mean like screeching car brakes hot! So then shortly later we end up chatting online, OMG! We go back and forth for awhile, see each other out now and then... but other than chatting not much. Though I did admit my crush. Over time he tells me his problems, I listen, etc... the guy pours his heart out to me about the guy he's been with for the last 8 months... blah blah blah. Then we see each other out and the next morning he texts me his number... wow, took me 3 months to get a number, talk about progress! So we've been texting now... fun times, but still no phone call or 'lets hang'.

So then its Oscars night and I'm over at my best friends house. My other friend is in the kitchen and starts yacking about how this guy he's 'dating' doesn't know what an Oscar party is. He said the guys name and I knew instantly... my gym guy! Lets just say it only took me 5 min to leave the party... I feel so pissed off! They went to dinner! Took me 3 months to get a number and took him like a week to go to dinner. I don't even think my friend is all that. I mean he's nice and he's pretty and comes from money, but upstairs... um, not so much. (sorry dude, if you read this, you know I still love ya but I'm pissed!!!)

So my point? What the fuck is wrong with me? I'm sort of attractive, I'm extremely intellegent, I'm motivated and driven! Why can't I meet a guy that likes me for who I am. Yea, I don't have a super model body, I'm tan only in the summer, I'm goofy... so what, at least I have a personality!

Frustrations & Goals...

So I feel like I'm stuck in this catch-22. I have these goals, goals I've had for awhile, but I never seem to complete them, hence the frustration. So here are this years revised goals. Its a short but complex list.

A) Have the best body I've ever had by my birthday. That gives me roughly three months and a day to complete. Now I've been going to the gym a lot (except this past week, I went yesterday but the time before that was Tuesday the 13th) and I know my downfall in the gym consists of two issues. First of which is mental, I hate free weights! I feel clumsy and awkward with them, not to mention the weight is low. Second is diet... I LOVE TO EAT! I love bad food too! Yesterday I said I was going to eat better. I went to the gym then to Shaws for some groceries. I ended up buying some good stuff and the ingredients for nachos. Not just chips and cheese, but I made nachos el grande... taco meat, cheese, sour cream, jalapenos, onion, tomatoes, etc. I made a fat kid portion and ate them all, with a large glass of Crystal light. Not to mention I was hung over earlier in the day and ate pizza and fried cheese sticks! WTF! I'm totally sabotaging myself. I'm also not saying I'm overweight, but I want a flat stomach, decent arms & chest, maybe some shoulders in there... ha!

B) Work! I hate working for 'the man'. I want to be the man. I own my own company, but I'm not making any money at the moment. I have one client web site I'm working on, should be enough money to make a rent payment and also buy 1 license of the software I need. I'm using the free version. I also have a couple more potential clients in the wings, but my goal is to have my bread and butter web site, hotatnight.com, live by the 4th of July. I'll be in Ptown that week and would love to launch it in full swing then! I've got the basic foundation up, but I haven't seem to have the drive to finish some of the basics. Everyday I come home from work and say, I'm gonna work on web stuff. But then I either go to bed or watch TV or get on myspace or just chat. Its beyond frustrating. Part of it is the home environment. I know I work better outside the house. I obviously am not making enough money to rent some office space or buy the equipment for that space. Hell, if I was I'd obviously be working for myself by then.

So I've been working today, gym later... had a bagel and a couple cups of coffee today. There is left over pizza in the fridge, but I feel like I should have a salad instead. Motivation tips?

Dreams...

So I keep having the weirdest dreams at night; monsters, assassins, robberies. What happen to dreams where I'm laying on the beach and getting laid at night? Three nights ago, I don't remember too many details but it was very 'Saw 4'ish (and for the record I hate horror movies and do not watch them) where this guy / creature was using a sanding belt to grind away skin, flesh, bone off people's bodies while they were still alive. Then putting the rest of them under a large rotary press. The night before last, I had a dream where this group had a machine that could help assassinate people. They had chosen one of my roommate's co-workers and was going to poison the champagne for their work party they were having. When I found out and IM'd my roommate to warn him, they showed up at my office desk before I could even escape. They killed my fictional co-worker... too bad, he was hot and then injected me in the leg and neck with this white substance. At that point I woke up. This last night, dream 1: Vampire... don't remember much but it woke me up around 3am. Luckily I had a kitten to cuddle with HA. Dream 2, my roommate and I had gone away for a weekend, only to get home and our apt had been robbed. Took all the TVs, computers, laptops, clothing, etc... left the kittens (thank goodness.) They also robbed upstairs, just not as bad. I remember wanting to get my Dell service tag from online and giving it to the police. Thinking that between Dell and the police, they'd be able to get an IP address of my stolen computer and find the thief. Oy vea... So what's the deal? Am I stressed from work? Eating the wrong things? Not enough sex? lol.

What a freaking sucky-ass day! I just got home, fed the kittens... I suppose I should find something to eat myself. Just was a non-stop day... though the guy I met last Friday did call me back, so that's good I guess. But i was so depressed leaving my office, I had high hopes of going to the gym after work, I haven't been since last Tuesday. I feel like I'll never make the goal of being in shape for my birthday at this rate. Its just that I'm on call tonight, I got paged before I even left the office for the day. Plus I've HAVE to work on a client's web site tonight, I've put off any additional progress for over 2 weeks now. Plus I may have a new client starting soon and I have to work on the MB Media Partner's site AND hotatnight.com phase 2, which was suppose to be live Nov 1st. That's the price of a one man show and a social life. No TV tonight... well, maybe during dinner.

Well, I had to post something, I couldn't just leave it empty. So today has been a total bitch day at work, I need this as a break. My boss is currently skiing with his kids and well, hell broke loose today. Had a condo owner trying to sell his unit, but the elevator permit was expired and even though I tried to explain that it was between the State of MA and elevator company, that wasn't going to work for him. Then the gas company was calling to shut off the gas at a 30 unit building I manage due to no payment, but the missing balance due wasn't in our accounting system... LOVELY! Not to mention I'm trying to re-organize our office place, clean it up reduce filing, etc. Like I have time for this bull! Anyways, back to the grindstone.
